Job Purpose:

You will work with an inter-disciplinary team and play a pivotal role between programme and operations in the design, planning and management of the country programme. S/he provides support to Implementing Partners (IP’s) to ensure proper compliance with audit recommendations in accordance with established policies and procedures. The Programme Finance Associate also works in close collaboration with the Programme and Operations teams to ensure timely support to SRO on programming and financial matters.  

 

Qualification and Experience:

Your Education

Ø  Completion of Secondary School is required.

Ø  Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Administration, Public Administration or related field is preferable.

Ø  Recognized training or certification in Finance/Accounting and/or Business Administration is an asset.

 

Your Experience

Ø Minimum of 7 years’ relevant professional experience in programme/project management or financial management in the private, public sector or in an international organization is required

Ø Previous experience in the UN is an advantage
